Immersion Helen & Nicole

For the first session of immersion for Helen and Nicole, we talked about historical events that happened and we all were given cards and were in groups and we were supposed to be a team and make a doc and research when did it happen and what happened. some Ben, Ben and Liam were a group so we researched quite a lot of pictures. On the second Session, we did map maths and it was kind of fun but not as fun as the first and we also had to write why history was important and it was supposed to be our Writing Sample.

Immersion Liv /Emma

For immersion with Liv And Emma, we looked at Signage. The first session we walked to the high school to look at all the signage on the walls. On the second session, we looked at the picture we were given and then described it and what message it brings out. It was really fun because On  the last session of the immersion with Liv And Emma was that we picked a picture of the desk and we got The Mickey to Tiki Picture by Dick Frizzell. We remade the picture and gave it a table (We Chose Collaboration). The Remake of it was my Idea and Ethan helped me. We were in a group together so Ethan drew the Stickman well, improved it and I drew the goal and the idea. So we then described it when we showed the group It and we finished the immersion.

Immersion Max

In immersion for Max, we did silhouette art. We looked at art from Tiffany Singh and looked at her video. We then could get a picture from the internet to cut out a silhouette and put it on a piece of paper or take a picture ourselves. After we take the picture we had to share it with Max so he can print it black and white. Me and Ben were in a group and I thought of doing a soccer-themed one. I imagined it as Ben kicking the ball. I told him the idea and he agreed so I decided to be a cameraman and I got the go pro and we took some pictures up at the field. It didn't work out so well since it didn't have a screen so then Liam.J gave us The Camera they were using sp we took pictures with that and sent it to Max to print it. I cut it out and we glued the front which had grey and white because the other side of the picture was white. We glued it on and it was on a black piece of paper and it was a white silhouette of Ben kicking the ball. Max told us that it was good but it was k...

Immersion Amy & Chris

For immersion, we drew or built in tinker cad a playground we want to build. it can be anything, floating, lava, anything. I drew it because at the time tinker cad was too hard for me. it was really fun because we could think outside the box. Every time I used tinker cad I gave up because I didn't understand the concept so that's why I drew it on paper. The most fun thing I did on Chris and Amy's immersion was going to the playground and drawing.

Immersion Jess & Sarah

In immersion, I did Dance/Drama with Jess & Sarah although most sessions were run by Jess. We did freeze frames and also acted out a page from a book and we talked about body language, facial expressions, body expression etc. It was mostly Drama but we still had fun with all the freeze frames and acts. For the acting out, I was the narrator, Liam. J overreacted in the act and made everyone laugh. As a narrator, I tried not to Laugh but I couldn't help it. I Continued to read the page until the end and then we took a bow. I learned a lot of things from that immersion by doing freeze frames, acting & watching inspirational videos.

We have made a slide and talked about what programs we will be using. we have talked to Helen for a photo editing workshop because she is a professional. we asked to learn the basics so we can learn the easy stuff and learn the hard. -- 7/09/2017 Today for passion project I worked on the slide and added to the Research slide. I researched how cameras take pictures and videos. I soon will make a full date on doing the photo editing workshop with Helen.
